I was looking for someone to come in and remove an existing fireplace and the tile floor surrounding it, and replace it with the hardwood that matched the surrounding floor. A few other people came in and bid and they were double the cost and I didn’t get a good feeling from them . Put the request up on Homestars and Jason messaged me – the quote was reasonable, Jason seemed very down to earth and easy to communicate with (he listened to what I wanted without making assumptions). We was able to start right away and the work quality was great. Very meticulous, able to troubleshoot without cutting corners (even found a few cut corners that a previous contractor had left and fixed them) and a great overall job. He was even able to find a stain that would match the over 10-year-old flooring we already have in our house- you can now barely tell where the old and new flooring switch over. I have already reached out to Jason about my next job.
